Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and vocalist. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Her early success was boosted by her appearance on some of the most popular TV show. She played the villainous Ling Woo. Following her popularity, she was offered significant part in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). Following that, she gave an her best acting performance on Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime lord O Ren Ishii. In the same time frame, she played the lead in several flops at the box office including Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce results. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred frequently, was a role which helped to reestablish she is famous as an actress. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order to avoid being a stereotype in a field that is highly competitive. Liu is also an accomplished artist that isn't restricted by her ethnicity.
