Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the sweetheart of America after she was crowned American Idol in the first series. The win brought Clarkson to the spotlight and secured her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums. Three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly missed the coveted spot. Her name is among the top artists who originate from The American Idol series. In order to achieve success, she tried out different musical styles, and explored subjects. In recognition of her talent and distinctiveness, she's been rewarded with a variety of accolades and awards. She has been the most notable winner of the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her work as a musician, she's seen on TV and in film. She is also the writer of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organizations.
