Fimbres was a contestant on the reality show Making the Band 3 during her second year in college, at the mid-point of her junior year. In the wake of her decision to be selected for the show, she dropped out of school and joined the show immediately. Aundrea Fimbres was birthed on the coast of Upland California on 29 June 1983 was the youngest three children. The youngest of three children raised by Mexican-origin parents.
